Review: Star Stuff: Carl Sagan and the Mysteries of the Cosmos

Star Stuff: Carl Sagan and the Mysteries of the Cosmos Star Stuff: Carl Sagan and the Mysteries of the Cosmos by Stephanie Roth Sisson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Star Stuff is a great introduction to Carl Sagan and the science of the universe. Written in words even small children can understand, it tells about his life, his curiosity, and his dedication to understanding the world we live in. For more advanced readers or the insatiably curious, the notes in the back of the book give more detail about his scientific contributions and his life. This is a great read for families and children who want to learn about the world we live in and the people who influenced it.

Review: Steam Train, Dream Train

Steam Train, Dream Train Steam Train, Dream Train by Sherri Duskey Rinker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a great picture book for kids, especially those who like stories that rhyme. The illustrations are wonderful, and they make you feel the mystery of the night. Includes trains, dreams, toys, and animals.
